My Experience With The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Body Scrub:

The packaging is beautiful, it comes in a transparent plastic jar which is quite sturdy. The texture is lightweight gel-based scrub with microbeads. It smells amazingly fresh and has a bit of calming effect. TBS nails it when it comes to fragrance so this stuff is no exception. I simply grab a scoop of this stuff and massage on my dry areas especially my hands and legs which needs extra exfoliation. It slough away dead skin cells leaving your skin feel soft, smooth and refreshed.

In my case I guess the jar will last for 4-5 months but that totally depends on the way you use it. I usually exfoliate twice a week. The exfoliating particles are not too harsh but gentle enough which I guess is great if you have sensitive skin. It also leaves no residue and doesn’t dry out your skin, unlike other scrubs. This body scrub is perfect for summers but for winters I think I’ll prefer something more abrasive. So, if you wish to bring the spa-like experience down your bathroom then ‘The body shop fuji green tea body scrub’ is an absolute treat to pamper your skin. The only thing that I didn’t like is the smell doesn’t last long unless followed by a body butter.

Cons:

  • Expensive
  • Rather than a jar, Tube one is more preferable
  • The fragrance doesn’t stay long

My Rating: 4/5

Will I recommend to others?

Yes, especially if you’re looking for a gentle scrub that can buff away your dead skin cells. It is perfect for Indian weather. It will not only replenish your skin’s texture but also revive your senses. I’m definitely going to buy another jar for summers!!
