Namaste Beautiful People!

I have a great liking for tea tree, undoubtedly it is a wonderful ingredient to treat skin conditions. I believe it’s for this very reason I was particularly drawn to The Body Shop Tea Tree Night Lotion for face despite its claims to be suitable for blemish prone skin. Much to my dismay, I have combination skin which is often prone to hormonal breakouts and my complexion is still far from the poreless. So when I came across the tea tree range from The Body Shop, I was instantly intrigued to buy.

I will always wholeheartedly recommend following CTM routine to get that healthy, natural glow. And when it comes to moisturizer, anything that can calm my acne holds a special spot in my beauty cabinet. With my continuous hectic traveling schedule, my skin was particularly flustered, I desperately needed a product that can perk up my skincare game. As I’m already falling in love with their body scrub range, I bought their entire tea tree range goodies at a discounted price from The Body Shop website, which I will be reviewing shortly. Check out my experience on the night lotion.

My Experience With The Body Shop Tea Tree Night Lotion For Face:

The night lotion comes in a cylindrical green colored airtight container with a black pump dispenser. The packaging is sturdy and travel-friendly. It is lightweight and has a gel-lotion texture that easily gets absorbed by the skin within seconds, a little bit goes a long way. It has an intense smell which may put off some people but if you’re a tea tree lover then you’ll get past that smell.

I have been using this for past two weeks and amazingly it didn’t let me down, especially since the product claims to be for blemish prone skin but it has worked wonders in controlling my acne. Yes, I haven’t experienced any breakout which is a major bonus and my complexion looks and feels a whole lot calmer.  Few of my spots were reduced but not all of them. Sadly, it didn’t work on my large pores but that’s okay as it didn’t claim so. However, it is incredibly effective in controlling the oiliness at night, when your skin is replenishing itself. I’ll prefer using this during summers as I think during winters my skin needs extra moisturization.

Cons:

  • Strong Fragrance
  • May not work for dry skin beauties

My Rating: 3.8/5

Will I Recommend To Others?

The night lotion is a decent option if you ask me. It is truly a lovely product if you want to treat your problematic skin. So for those with normal, combination and oily skin, I highly recommend you to get your hands on this stuff.
