Isn’t it awesome when you include a cleanser in your beauty arsenal that works like magic on your problematic skin? Let me share you my thoughts on ‘Cetaphil Cleanser For Oily Skin’ that worked like charm on my pimples.

If there is anything that I have learned while checking out the skincare routine of my favorite influencers, then it’s removing every traces of makeup before going to bed followed by cleansing your face thoroughly. I have acne prone combination (oily during summers) skin and anything that can prevent from further breakouts intrigues me!! And finding the right product that can work for your acne requires a lot of trial and error with a plethora of products, and this can be downright exhausting. So when my dermatologist asked me to implement this classic fan-favorite Cetaphil cleanser in my beauty routine, I was super excited to give this a try.

Price: Rs 319/- For 125ml (Click here to buy)

What Does The Product claim?

Cetaphil is a soap-free gentle foam cleanser that provides effective cleansing for oily, combination or acne-prone skin. It won’t strip skin of its natural protective oils or emollients. Its gentle foaming action removes surface oils, dirt and makeup without leaving your skin dry. It cleans thoroughly without leaving any irritating residue that can clog pores, also it is non-comedogenic and pH balanced.

Directions for use without water: Apply a liberal amount of cleanser to the skin and rub gently. Remove excess with a soft cloth, leaving a thin film on the skin.

Directions for use with water: Apply cleanser to the skin and rub gently. Rinse with water.

My experience with Cetaphil Cleanser For Oily Skin?

Cetaphil oily skin cleanser comes in white plastic bottle with flip-top cap. The product is transparent gel-like and runny in texture. A little drop goes a long way. It doesn’t foam like regular cleansers and facial foams but you can easily rinse your face by making it soft and squeaky clean. It has a light fragrance which might be an issue for those who are sensitive to smell.

I suffer from breakouts more often, but after using this product I noticed a remarkable difference in my skin plus my acne has subsided to a great extent. Now I can say goodbye to those pesky pimples that kept crawling back. A sigh of relief!!  I use it twice a day followed by a moisturizer. My skin has been incredibly good and the best part is its wallet-friendly. I avoid using this product during winters as it somehow dries my skin. So, I go for regular Cetaphil gentle cleanser for all skin types.

If you’re looking for removing heavy makeup then I’ll recommend you using micellar water or makeup wipes for this purpose. However, for light makeup removal, you can use this cleanser.

  • Not travel-friendly
  • Not good in removing makeup

My Rating: 4/5

Will I recommend it to others?

Yes, if you’re looking for a product that can work its zit-zapping magic then this can be your soulmate. It is an excellent cleanser that can effectively deal with your common skin woes like acne or blemishes. I have been an ardent user of this lovely product and will continue to use it. You’ll know what the fuss was all about, this product will leave your skin feel more supple and oil free.
